AMIK Underfloor Heating Cable has an output of 10W/m

Although the cable is primarily designed to be installed under tiled and natural stone floors, it may also be laid under parquet and laminated flooring if used in conjunction with AMIK Lamiflex.

Choose the right output for your heating cable (10 W/m)

The heating cable can be laid with a number of different c/c distances (8, 10, 12 cm), each of which produces different outputs in the floor, W/m2.

The figures quoted above are guideline values. Poorly insulated buildings may require higher outputs due to energy losses. If a higher output is required, a heating cable with a 16 W/m2 may be used.

 

Choose the right length for your heating cable (10 W/m)

Calculate to net area of the floor that shall be laid with heating cable and read off the figure for the selected c/c distance shown in the length column in the table. The cable shall not be laid under WC pedestals, built-in bath tubs or fixed counter and cabinet furniture with sockets.
